Re: Battle of Britain campaign issue

Of course, once we separated the planes from the scenarios, a player could run the BOB planeset included with 1.6 in literally any scenario they chose.

Re: Battle of Britain campaign issue

Pretty sure it is the default EAW setup.

There is a specific planeset in 1.6 that mimics the original campaign. Scroll through the list and you will find it.

Re: Moggy's Log March 2024

Very nice. What did you end up doing to the loadout to get hand grenades? BTW, you have to fix a few of those tire (tyre?) texture mappings. It's a mistake by me that has carried on through a number of aircraft based on the same model. BTW#2, I just finished a B4Y Japanese torpedo bomber based on th...

Re: Moggy's Log March 2024

Turned out very nice.

On the subject of hand grenades, I'd forgotten there is a 3KG parachute bomb already in the mix. Maybe the .dat file for this would give some clues for a grenade.

Re: Screenshots from 20 odd years ago - March 2004

If it was me doing this project I'd start with the target set from SPAW. Moving the targets with the editor is a piece of cake, then after moving them, give them geographically accurate names. In fact, the static fleets and convoys built into the set wouldn't need any adjustments at all except some ...

Re: Moggy's Log March 2024

I don't know about that. The blast scale goes from 0 to 254 with 254 being used for the explosion of an ammo ship or tanker. At the other end there are 20lb and 10kg bombs already in the mix but I don't recall the scale number used for them. I'd hazard a guess that a 1 would be OK for a hand grenade...

Re: Screenshots from 20 odd years ago - March 2004

Didn't realize how far you'd gone with this.

I know you're neck deep in the Balkans scenario but this is a scenario I'd love to develop fully, too. Lots of "crossover" stuff from SPAW would mean not starting from scratch.

Just to be sure I checked my model and it doesn't have that issue so it's definitely something on your end.

Re: One of the most important planes of the 1920s & 1930s

Very nice but you have to fix that R/S issue involving the Czech insignia on the top of the right wing.

And don't forget to send me a copy to add to the inventory.

Re: Little Wars and Obscure Planes

Actually, looks pretty good. As to the R/S issues, usually models with lots of struts NEVER give perfect renderings so unless it's something really egregious it probably doesn't matter. Still, I can take a look if you want.

Re: Little Wars and Obscure Planes

Happy to help, I love producing the obscure ones. Put it in my folder and I'll get on it after I get done pulling my hair out over the R/S issues with the Japanese H6K. Also, don't forget, I just recently added the WM.23 to the inventory. And then there's the Belgian Renard series of fi...
