I have a separate WW1 download which Jelly made, failing which I can make one from the 1.6 WW1 setup I have.
I think there are other WW1 planes around - see Laurent Vogel's posts on the EAW Facebook page. If you're going to do this might be worth trying to get him involved.

Re: Fall Grun 1938. What if?
If it was something to do the longdirset or the folder names, wouldn't we get the same result on all setups including both of my computers?
Excatly what happens if you try to run the UBI setup without using the windower?
Could you try it using the glide wrapper and see if you get a start?

Re: EAW WW1 Theatre
This is the 1.6 aircraft inventory I have for WW1. As you can see there is a zeppelin: http://mogggy.org/pictures/WW1Planes.jpg There are others, including those made by Laurent Vogel. A lot of work was done on this theatre a few years back. It was not universally popular amongst EAW modders (and Ra...

EAW WW1 Theatre
Our new friend EdLaz, was asking about the EAW WW1 theatre. This is it from Jelly's standard EAW 1.6 download: http://mogggy.org/pictures/SCRN0065.jpg http://mogggy.org/pictures/SCRN0066.jpg http://mogggy.org/pictures/SCRN0067.jpg http://mogggy.org/pictures/SCRN0068.jpg http://mogggy.org/pictures/SC...

Re: Fall Grun 1938. What if?
Done some testing with the D3DWindower as Lolo suggests, and the IBU setup runs fine in a 1024x768 window:

Re: Fall Grun 1938. What if?
Sounds like an argument between the Windower and the setup. Just a thought, but presumably if you have to use the widower to get D3D, you have to copy over the D3DWindower programme into the downloaded setup. Have you also copied over any other files the windower needs, such as hook.ini and D3dHook....

Re: Fall Grun 1938. What if?
Ray: Flummoxed by that. I have even copied the setup to my steam powered XP computer and it still works. Can you tell me exactly what happens? Does PSM160V4.exe load, and can you make selections? Can you run EAW and at what point does it crash? What happens if you just run eaw.exe without running PS...

Message to lurkers - come on in!
Because of the numbers of views some of our threads are getting, there must be a number of interested lurkers about. If you are interested in EAW and want to join the discussions come on in! Because of the large number of spam registrations, I have disabled automatic board registration, but I...

Re: Fall Grun 1938. What if?
I see we've had six downloads of the Middle East setup and five downloads of the Italy-Balkan-Ukraine setup.
Anyone got anything working?

Re: Fall Grun 1938. What if?
Please do Stratos. And anyone else.
Again it's a stand alone installation of 1.6. It has its own eaw.ini so you may need to adjust for your preferred screen resoloution etc.

Re: Fall Grun 1938. What if?
I have another download, I have removed a couple of the scenarios which were spiky. This is just over 4 GB. http://mogggy.org/EAW/IBU-TESTBED.zip I have decompressed this zip and run it on different locations on my machine and it seems to work. Don't forget to put in your own eaw.ini before running ...

Re: Fall Grun 1938. What if?
I'm working through my set up here, and I hope it's a good sign that some twenty odd of the scenarios I have tested only two are stubbornly giving me CTDs. I'm going to work through the rest and then try and make two things (1) a full setup that should work for you (and everyone else) and (2) a set ...

Re: Fall Grun 1938. What if?

Ray, no idea what's going on with this. It was mostly working last time I was working on it last year. Leave it with me. I'll try and put together another package.

Re: Fall Grun 1938. What if?
Very odd, I've been working with the copy I made here, and it is also behaving oddly compared with the original, Suspect I've shaved something important off the copy. Doing some more experiments. Meanwhile, to copy of of the theatre setups to your working 1.6, try copying over the theatre folders 1-...
