yes I had never seen them until we discovered they only appeared in interdictions on the targets with the shipyards... now I can see them whenever i want, just about ... strange isn't it

did a quick conversion and skinning job on the Hiryu.... results : http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v31/Pobs1/hiryu01.jpg there are some RS issues and the model is too small and needs resizing... but they are a very good basis for the new carriers .... this will save a lot of time :).... cheers, Pobs

fly, we have new info on the placement of the moving convoys..... to get an interdiction convoy you need a 'shipyard' tmod in the target site and the positions of the targets are set by 14 pairs of bytes in the exe which we have now identified. It isn't clear yet how the exe chooses which set of co-...

OK, well we have Pactide III now and can look at this approach to carriers... it seems to work quite well, but there are a few problems to be ironed out.. 1. The carrier is far too big compared to the planes.... 2. When I look around at the rest of my squadron, the deck disappears and we are sitting...

go for it Shreckie mate, but a word of advice.... sit down first with a coffee, and make out your tmod list ... then have another coffee and read it through again.... and again... and again.... BEFORE you start making target sites... after the SAW experience where the target makers made the targets ...

we can certainly put our carriers in this way, and it does seem to work ok... I still haven't checked whether it will let us fly past the superstructure hit bubble at ground level... the problem with using VB's model is : 1. It is a 'cross deck' aircraft carrier.. non historical, but means we cant s...

yes I agree, lets have it in as a ground based aircraft for now, we can make a carrier version for a later scenario if we want at a later date..

yup I reckon we can cover most eventualities now ... so its on to the models !!!... I am hoping to put more detailing on the carrier model itself... of course in Gurney comes through with the RS tool ..........:):)..fingers crossed !!....
