Re: Aircraft for Mogggy's Dunkirk v1.60+
Peter, here is the other 109D I have found. I've been through over a hundred books now and have only found these 3 photos so far. You would thing more documentation would exist. I think I will try google.de and see what is there. M Hawk looks good. Many thanks Mike. As to the 109D nighfighters. Cer...

Re: Aircraft for Mogggy's Dunkirk v1.60+
Mike - those photos look like the right squad.
I don't think these early nightfighters had the "jazz music" up firing canons.

Re: Aircraft for Mogggy's Dunkirk v1.60+
I am in your hands. In the original Dunkirk some 18 years ago now, I wanted to get in the "night" abilities of EAW which we had then only newly opened up together with the ability to have lights. So I had the Wellington flying night bombing missions (which they actually did to the forces a...

Re: Aircraft for Mogggy's Dunkirk v1.60+
This was one the sources, roughly translated from the German on the Wings of History site, which appears no longer, to exist Only in December 1939 the first night interception squadron IV(N)/JG2, with old Messerschmitt BF 109D, was set up which one had diminished the canopy in favor of better overvi...

That's what I did on the original. I'll see if I can find the original source for that.Iron Mike wrote: If I can find an illustration of this 'field modification' I'll take the center canopy section out.
Oh yes it is!Iron Mike wrote:The Hawk 75 is coming along.

Re: Aircraft for Mogggy's Dunkirk v1.60+
Beautiful set Mike. Many thanks.
One very small point. I recall that the 109d of the night fighting sqaud fought with open cockpits. Bit nippy, but anything to improve night view I suppose.

Re: Paratroopers
I've found it. It was the 128C-2016 exe that Jel made on 15th May 2016, with weapons.dat made by Ray? The paras don't explode, but turn into actual soldiers on the ground. http://mogggy.org/pictures/paras1.jpg http://mogggy.org/pictures/paras2.jpg http://mogggy.org/pictures/paras3.jpg http://mogggy....

Paratroopers
Can anyone remind me how we finally implemented non-exploding pratroopers?
It's in mind we had a version of the 126C-2016 exe and a special weapons.dat.

Re: Aircraft for Mogggy's Dunkirk v1.60+
Hello Mike, many thanks for the continuing work. Many of those French aircraft were first created by me for the original Dunkirk back in 2001 (along with that Hs126). EAW had very few. They were intended to be temporary quick bodge-ups in the hope proper modellers could take them on any impro...

Re: Switzerland 160 version
When I dabbled with Switzerland in February last year I looked at most biplanes I could find to see if there were likely stand-ins for the obscure Swiss planes.
Ray - can you point me at any particular model which you think would be a good looky-likey for the C35?

Re: Switzerland 160 version
Hello Jel, EKW C35: multi purpose army cooperation biplane. http://s18.postimg.cc/ttya4dmdl/wq2n.jpg I hadn't actually found a model to put in this slot until I did some work myself last year to make 160 version of the Switzerland setup. The nearest thing we have is Jan Tuma's Avia B34 model, so I u...
