I was using the last Nvidia drivers for Win98se, 81.98 without any issues, and that high in XP drivers would give me 7217?

I'm now woundering why The game ran, without 7217, if those drivers were too new?

A little help please

Hi Guys.

I've just been trying to get a new install of EAW working on my XP machine.

I have a very pixelated sky, terrain, and prop tra's. I've tried several d3d.dll's, and no luck. Any suggestions?

Hi Sydbod. As we proved a long tine ago, all the models are built to near enough the same scale, 1/48. The exe manipulates the scale, and makes things look bigger or smaller by type, so changing everything to the same scale is easy. Just things like flight files, gun flashes, ect have to be changed ...

But maybe, just maybe for 1.3 we could consider going to one scale for everything, as in my test exe. :wink:

You need to setup those buttons in the EAW config, advanced settings, or you can do it by editing the EAW INI file. :wink:

Hi Wuddy.

I know it's possible to have a 3dz disappear when it contacts land, or sea, but I don't know if it's possible to make elements disappear. We'd need a new action code, linked to contact with sea. But, don't hold your breath, we've not had much luck with 3dz related mods. :(

It might be possible to write a new action code, which would make an element disappear if it has a negative height value. Other wise all e could do is cover it up with sprites.
