Re: EAW 128C and 129
I remember doing the work that gave us D.3dz, and then being totally frustrated that the same trick wouldn't work to get more. It was only when 1.3 arrived we noticed, totally by accident that implementing ghe slot free system, the data structure impediment that blocked access to other add on 3dzs c...

Re: Definitive books on Eastern Front air war
Fascinating story about the Whirlwind. I remember having an airfix model of it yonks ago. Always thought it looked great.
So many potentially very good planes passed over. Can I say Martin-Baker?

I'd also recomend this author's 2015 volume on the Battle of Britain, for its careful analysis of all the new sources, and its questioning of some of the myths such as the alleged bad generalship of Goering and whether the Bf 110 was as useless as often claimed. https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/comp...

Re: EAW 128C and 129
It was the slot free revoloution with 1.3 that enabled the extra 3dzs beyond D.3dz. 129 can only handle the original paste on 3dz plus D.

Re: EAW 128C and 129
The reason being that aircraft models in 1.6 can use many more 3dz paste-ons which earlier EAW iterations cannot.
Good point.

EAW 128C and 129
I have removed the links for the download packages from the announcement post as we are short of space on Mr.Jelly's download server, and like to concentrate on 1.6.
If however anyone is interested in trying out these older Code Group products, please post here and we'll see what can be done.

Re: Jarod's help post
Try this 1.1 GB download: http://mogggy.org/EAW129/UAW129Sept2023.exe Extract to a new folder which will be the 129 install. You may need to set up the eaw.ini with your preferred options, and otherwise use the game config screen to install your preferred settings. Run DSP128-9.exe to choose the exe...

Re: Jarod's help post
I've deleted the links to the 129 and 128C downloads. Sorry about that. Mr. Jelly was essentially running out of room on his download sites and needs to concentrate on UAW 1.6.
If you want to try 1.29, I may be able to put together a package for you.
