Hi Rotten50.

Moggy posted a list of action codes a long time ago, and 150 / 0 - Right elevator (top and bottom) in PAW planes is listed. The problem is this code does not work in EAW. :(

Todays update on the glider tug. I've nearly got all the RS problems cracked on the left side of the model, and a really nice round engine too. :)

Hi Rotten50. Sorry to butt in, but there are no action codes which can easily be used for dive flaps. It's been a long term aim to try and re allocate some of the old PAW codes which are still active in EAW, and either duplicate, or simply don't do anything any more. Sadly, searches for the way thes...

Having my hands in splints is a real bugger, so progress is slow, but tonight I've manged to fix the RS problems with the model. The props no longer show through the plane looking from the side and front quarters. I'm now rebuilding the engines and wings, which although will not contain many element...

Looks like you'll need some sound files done too, to replace the "rodger, drop tanks" for "roger, drop tow line", ect, answer your new commands. BTW. I had the jab in one wrist today, and apart from some pain when the doc was trying to find the right place, the hand feels a lot b...

Hi Guys. I'm off to the Docs later this morning to have some injections into my wrists to get rid of these dead fingers, for at least some days. Anyway, this is where I am with the M.3dz of the C47. It's proving to be quite a challenge to make a twin engine model, with a reasonable shape, but I thin...

Hi Rotten50.

You seem to have quickly grasped the way EAW can be tweaked. :)

Good going mate! :) :)

Wuddy.

Do those little buggers drop from under the plane, or from the side door position, as they should do?

Forgive me for saying this, but in reality allied gliders were only used when we had air superiority. I don't recall reading any accounts of tugs/gliders being attacked by fighters. They were more often shot down by AA, as they were slow moving targets. On the hit bubble question, I think we know ho...

Just an update on the LR C-47 model. Still got a way to go, and I'm skinning the model from scratch, mainly because the original model skin is badly mishapped.

Moggy, Can't you mod the properties of the bombs so they cause no damage, and change the smoke and fire sprites so there all blank? That way your bombs would not explode, but your paras would show up on the ground. It would be worth asking on "another" forum about if we could add some new ...

Well, despite my hands giving me jip. I've managed to re-model some of the Dakota M.3dz, so it looks a bit more like an F.3dz in quality. I've still got quite a few points left, so I sould be able to do something with the engines and wings too. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v30/ColGibbon/c47.jpg...

OK, so who's going to do a Horsa, so VB can have a realistic A Bridge To Far addon?

All joking aside, what about the C47 towing a glider project?

Oh well, back to the drawing board. I've checked the M.3dz, and I have nearly 80 free points, which is enough to refine the basic model into something looking less like a flying box. My brilliant idea was to build the main C47 model onto hard points, which is fine until you release it, and the C47 f...

Is there no way to make it instantaneous? I can only give the C47 working props when it's attached to the glider, because in reality they will be hard pointed props of the glider, using the tra effect from the tex/tra. The moment the gliders engine runs out of fuel, the props would disappear. The on...

Hi Wuddy. I've gone one better this afternoon and added the left and right sides of the full model. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v30/ColGibbon/SCRN0119.jpg Now, I'm going to add the tail 3dz, and with luck two working props, with tra effect! I know I can do it, but I'd like to know how quickly ...
