Anyone know how to get an X52 stick working with EAW?
I am able to fly, but not assign buttons.
I used the profiler for the X52, but it wont work in-game.
I assigned the buttons as eaw keystrokes and as macros,
but nothing.
Would I end up having to assign the command in the eaw.ini
file? And if so, how would I list it?
I was surprised the POV doesn't work by default.
Thanks,
AO

Hi guys,
although I have the advantage of 30+ buttons, (I think)
I CAN assign them in the "advanced" like you said.......
but alot of disadvantages. I had to assign each position of
the POV, ...didn't have to do that with my Sidewinder,......
Can't do multi-assigned keys this way......for instance
'padlock closest enemy' I could just assign 1 button that
targeted closest AND padlocked.....
But anyway........grumble....grumble...............
This thing 'feels' like a real stick!!!!!! Throttle is heaven!
Curious thou that the profile doesn't work,.... only changing your
settings in game or ini.
I'm sure I'll be back to ask more questions.....having a ball testing.
(Like is there anything else you can do with that big-ole MFD besides
tell the time? )

Hi guys,
okay, got it working! (AGAIN, thanks to Dumo!)
Uninstalled, rebooted, re-installed, all is well.
I believe my problem occurred because I plugged the stick in
before running the install CD. Windows recognized and loaded it's
own driver,.....then I ran the CD.......
All is well, and like my old Sidewinder, I do not have to change
anything in the INI or in-game settings!
Thanks,
