Skylark

To Ralf and all Code Group Personnel...

Post by Skylark »

Hi Guys,

As a member of the Beta testing group I thought I might
reveal the reason for my absentisum over the past months of
July thru September. I've been acting as the primary care giver to
me father who was afflicted by an aggressive form of cancer.
He and I lost that battle mid August and the mid September
his memorial service took place. Since then I've become my mother's
primary care giver and helping her get through these past months.
So you can understand that my responsibilities were very prioritised
towards family matters and not all things EAW.

I had known that there were further 1.28? exe releases
but I just didn't have the time to review them. Let alone test them.
Over these last few weeks, with my limited involement in SPAW,
I becaome aware of what great advancements have been made by the Code Group with the 1.28c release.
Only over these past few days have I been able to read the other 1.28? 'readme' texts
and fully appreciate the scope of those changes.
I think it will be sometime before I can truely test all the new features
that have been created by you guys....

At this time, I'd like to extend my personal apology to Ralf.
I'm aware now that my untimely 'suggestion' would have been more appropriate
had it been submitted months ago when 1.28b exe was released....
My only hope is that, with reguards to this thread, that my explanation
and personal apology be accepted.......

Respectfully
David

Sincere Condolences on your loss, Skylark. It must be very difficult.

Moggy and the code team, (no offense) can I make the suggestion that we move this thread and in the future we should discuss sensitive code group subjects like this only within the code group private forum, as these discussions are not appropriate to general public areas IMHO.
