New Iraq Tmods

Post by Moggy »

Following the mosques, the next one up was "Air Headquarters", the largest and most important building at RAF Habbaniya, office of Air Vice Marshal Smart and his sucessors, and the most prestigious target in the compound.

This was another variation on the default castle mod, RS compliant thanks to Ray's advice and some old threads here between Ray and John Gibbon.

Skin developed from an old colour photo of the building.

Nice.

Maybe when you get done with Iraq you could build us a nice Eiffel Tower? Plop is right down in central Paris.

The the Rhiegstad ( SP?) for Berlin.

Funnily enough, my brother is a senior partner in Lord Rogers' architectural practice and was involved in the refurbishing of the Reichstag.

Okay, I am going to leave it at this and move on to the next.

I thought I'd have a go at the curious double roof arrangement all the official RAF buildings had at Habbaniya, and sort out the portico a bit better and get the RAF wings in.
