Barbarossa screenies

Post by Moggy »

Some screenies I took today whilst trying to sort out the 1941 Barbarossa scenario in the Italy-Balkans-Ukraine theatre.

This was a 110 escort mission for Ju87s:

The route took took the squad through the Carpathians, where the interception by the VVS took place:

Stunning terrain. Looks like something from one of the more advanced flight sims.

And I'm happy to see a few of the many upgraded models I've been working on.

That's Shawn "sagginb" Griffin's Euro-512 EAW Terrain v1.0 (D-24 or Darker Tile set-24 bit), first created for EAW 128E.

It does work rather well with the mountainous areas.

Whisper it quietly, but I may be getting somewhere at last with the slot CTDs.

And many thanks for the planes.

There are a few more than you requested.

Seems as I was researching national insignia and such for the models on your list I came across other aircraft so I went ahead and added them too.

Hi Moggy
I saw your wonderful pictures of barbarossa and i launched the 160 (12Go) on my PC ; i found a location in Balkan in summer which nearly looks like yours , with a high resolution ; i was very surprised … a great indeed terrain with mountains and nice aircrafts to fly…
Good job to you and your team 👍

I Will suppose barbarossa theatre and your specific terrain v1.0 (?) is to come in a next version of soft ?
