Hi Moggy, well in that case heres some Bay-of-Pig references that peeked my curiousity about 6 months ago ...

...after sifting through these and others, gave this theme at least a historical startup that could include vessel object named from carriers right down to each beached landing craft, individual aircraft serial no. and who piloted them for a real-time roster, etc., except really need that spanish speech pack from Saw...i'm assuming there must be one???

in short it might only qualify as a single mission campaign during a 6 day shoot out between a maximum of 2-4-6 ac at any one time on either side. Unlike a single mission Midway that had full squadrons engaged, this one would have that reduced into 1-2-3 ac in flight sizes only if chosing to keep it near to real...kind of a limited confrontation, not to mention the Invader-vs-Invader dogfighting as well as lopsided jet-vs-prop combat, could also throw a few what-if ringers into the mix that sat on the fence during the invasion.

...just no time right now to take it past as a notepad idea.

LOL
the deeper I get into these things=the less time I seem to be able to devote to finishing them
I sh1t you not gentlemen,I am awash in a sea of partially completed mods
oh well,I'll finish what I can at the highest level of skill I can muster and be done with it
then of course we have those pesky other sims or pursuits, right guys? you know, the things that call us away from our EAW from time to time, not "real-life stuff",things like......hmmm,fan clubs  ,and things like SFP1
well, cheers mates, theres still life in the old girl, even if all of us arent as "prolific" as some would wish us to be!

...but more importantly was an exercise to correct the previous 3dz shape of the Hawker Fury series which Gunsts version always looked to me more like a Tempest II.

and heres a beta version for their mustang...
