While repainting ter tiles to make a more.....vegetationally accurate Korea I took a break,and focused on the "battle of America" Aleutian Islands terrain....(a LOT less terrain )
Having been to the Aleutians when I lived in Alaska(1976-1977) I remember what Tundra looks like,and from what exists currently in EAW's terrain arsenal,P.O.Prunes Rasputista is the closest,but as you know,has NO coastal tiles as its a "dry-land terrain"
As the Aleutians are also very rocky,I took bits of stock EAW ter tiles,and the recent release demo-tiles from Col.Gibbon,and crafted a closer match to the coastal rockiness...and weird little islands too
This is just a diversion,
however,I've also added the pics secretly to the "battle of America" thread on simhq....just to see if anyone notices
