note 1

In order to get more variation of coastal files including coastal cities and coastal clearings for airfields I have sacrificed the road tiles. Roads are of less importance in this sea & jungle theatre

note 2

In order to optimise use of the active water tiles as coasts, islands and reefs I have had to give up the water properties on river tiles. In practice I don't think this will matter a lot as few pilots spend time strafing rivers, or crashing in them :)

note 3

Most of the railway mileage in this theatre is narrow guage, so I will be thinking about a way to implement that. Also need more suitable jungle green for railway track background

Moggy,

I can do the picpln screens and the FM/loadouts if you want.

Thanks Ray - we have the settled aircraft list now, so the FM/loadoutsand picpln screens can be done as soon as you like.

I ought to let you have the special pacific weapons.dat/str and loadout.dat setup done by Charlers Gunst for the original slot list, and you can amend it as you like or start again whichever is easier.

Moggy,

rotton50 at yahoo dot com

I'd like to look at them. No point starting from scratch.

I know it's early in the process but would you like me to include the parafrag bomb mod for the B25?

I'll get the files off to you tonight. Yes to the parafrag if it was used by the B25s in 1944.

Ray, I've sent you a link for the CAW files. Anyone else who would like to see the current state of play with this scenario, let me know

I will be using a 1.26 exe for this addon. It will have to be edited for the tmod table, convoy positions, and night missions etc. If this scenario can be made OAW-friendly the question of LDRs to edit the exe arises. Anyone out there can make LDRs or tell me how it's done (I confess what with one thing or another I haven't been following that topic too closely) :)

LDR's

Moggy,

Last year I did some LDR's for the 1.26e exe for my weapons mod.

All they did was point the exe at different .dat files, they didn't change lookup tables within the exe. BUT HEY - it ain't rocket surgery!

I'm sure we can figure it out.

That's good. If CAW can be OAW-ready it would be a good thing.

Rotton50 has now posted the updated CAW planes package and alternatives on a special section at his page on Sandbaggers.

I am now working on the detailed local lay out of the theatre.

Pobs is working on properly skinning the carriers.

Still hoping for a beta release in a month or two.
