If you're just looking for a trip down memory lane then by all means go with the originals but if you want the latest and last upgrades to the terrain, plane models and targets, you can easily duplicate the Ardennes planeset using the 1.6 plane set maker and then select the ETO2015 scenario with a seasonal terrain.
Also, PAC Tide is fairly close to SPAWFinalCut for 1.6 which has many, many more targets and again, selectable plane sets.

Re: Pacific Tide II?
Thanks Ray
Stratos, you first to download Mr. Jelly's definitive EAW 1.6 setup, See the post "How to download, setup and run EAW 1.6 - A few clicks and you're in the air!" in the "Instruction manual" section here:
http://mogggy.org/TheGen2/viewtopic.php?p=40894#p40894
All the info you need to do a basic 1.6 setup is there.
Once you have that running, we can deal with making an Ardennes setup.

Re: Pacific Tide II?
Working! One of the first theatres I tried (others work great is Moggy's Iraq), but seems the Valentis transformed into a Heinkel 59 lol can we fix that please?
Moggy, kudos to you for the beautiful towns with the Mosque in the square, really really immersive!!

The Valentis and the Heinkel 59 are both in the 1.6 inventory.

Re: Pacific Tide II?
Yes, the version of Iraq Jel has in his basic 1.6 download is short of a few later refinements in aircraft and ground object models. I'll see if I can make a little upgrade package.

I must say cause I don't know If I said it before than the Valentia is missing in 1.6 Iraq setup.

Re: Pacific Tide II?
As I said, the basic Iraq setup in Jel's basic 1.6 download is a bit behind the "latest" (see below) stuff I've worked on.
If either you or Ray (or anyone else reading this public board) are interested I could make a download of my "current" (well up the last work I did on it in 2021) working setup so you can see where it now is (or was!).

Here it is:
http://mogggy.org/EAW/UAW160-MoggysMiddleEastCopy.zip
It's another stand alone 1.6 installation. 1.6 GB.
Again, no promises that everything is working. Very much sub-beta.
On the other hand, as a bonus, you get Syria 1941, Palestine 1948, and the first bits of Mespot 1914-18.
Have fun with it.

Re: Pacific Tide II?
It works pretty well actually! And the New Valentia is much better!
Re: Pacific Tide II?
Regarding 1.6, while trying to run Desert Mod with Early 1942 planeset I get this error while loading and CTD, any idea?
