I had the Airfix plastic models flying on my bedroom ceiling as well!

I'm sure we can dig up the info. I don't think there were too many of them.

Basically I think of this as digital model making. A return to my youth except the models aren't hanging from the ceiling, they're flying around in virtual space.
Yes ! I fully agree :D

I even started thinking that LR Models are 1/72 scale while HR Models 1/48 or 1/32 scale...

Still working through some lesser known aircraft from Germany and the Allies:

Nieuport 25 ( a prototype with a 200 HP rotary ). I didn't make a separate set of skins for this one. I used the Nieuport 24 skins as it was an upgrade to the engine and wings with no visible changes:

HalberstadtC4 escort fighter and ground attack. Apparently a pretty good dogfighter too:

Siemens-Schuckert D 1, a copy of the French Nieuport 11:

Siemens-Schuckert D 4:

BTW, this is a lo-res model thus proving that with a little attention to detail a lo-res model can look quite good.

Siemens-Schuckert D 6 parasol version of the D 4:

Fokker C 1 two seat version of the Fokker D 7:

Roland D 6:

Albatros D 9

)I realized after I took the screenshot that I left a radiator on the top wing. It's been removed.

Fokker D 6, basically a Dr1 in biplane configuration:

A few other yet to come:
Sopwith Snapper
Sopwith Snark
Martinsyde F.4 Buzzard
Aviatek D 1
Aviatek D 4
Aviatek D 7
Pfaltz D 15
Rumpler D 1
AFG DJ 1

Ray, I've started to try and put together a 1.6 WW1 setup using your 29-12-25 aircraft collection.

Are there any more planes/FMs ready for addition to that set?

Yes, I have a finished Sopwith Snapper. It just missed WWI so you might not need it.

But I am also finishing up the Aviatik D 7 which did make it under the wire.

I'll upload a fresh set in the next couple of days that includes both of these.

I came across the nice website that lists all the aircraft used by both sides. It turns out there's quite a few more that I can add:

The dates there are useful in putting together planesets.

I'm trying to sort out tile maps, terrains, and target layouts from previous WW1 attempts.

And gather together whatever WW1 ground objects we have.
