Re: EAW WW1 Theatre

EdLaz, what we really need at this point are suggested plane lists for 1914, 1915, 1916, and 1917-18. i.e which aircraft (fighters & bombers) are active in those periods. As we're working on the western front at the moment that will be German, French, British, American. Ray, Ok I have the two pl...

Re: EAW WW1 Theatre

1WWSoundsOtherSims.zip in your folder. Mostly wavs. The map file in 1.6 is targmap.pic and targmap1.pic the pcx files being 2560x1280. The omly map file I can see is the Europe1.pic in the original 128C version: http://mogggy.org/pictures/EUROPE1TWF.jpg The targmap in my 1.6 setup looks like this: h...

Re: EAW WW1 Theatre

And another collection of WW1 planes, by Jan Tuma. Maybe same as in the 128C setup. Not sure.

1WW-Tuma-Aircraft.zip in your folder.

Also more Screens (though in 640x480) and a few Tmods.

WW1Screens2.zip
WW1Tmods.zip

Still looking.

Re: EAW WW1 Theatre

ALso, I found Laurent Vogel's stuff through the EAW FB page but I can't D/L any of it because I'm not a member of CombatAce. Any chance you are? I am, but for some reason my download quota is fixed at 1 KB/day. I have asked why. T WW1 Europe BHawk.zip now in your folder is Blackhawk's original WW1 ...

Re: EAW WW1 Theatre

Okay Ray, three zips in your folder. TWFTheatre.zip is my WW1 setup for 1.6. This is mostly Jelly's WW1 setup for 1.6. 128C 1914-18 Western Front 1.28c Basic Beta.zip is the original plane setup from the very first WW1 setup for EAW 128C. Other WW1 planes.zip is the few other WW1 planes I've picked ...

Re: EAW WW1 Theatre

I'll do the necessary for a download.

Looking amongst my stuff I seem to have acquired a DH2 which is apparently not finished, and RE8 CIII which are not in the list posted above.

I'll put everything I have in a package for you.

Re: EAW WW1 Theatre

I have a separate WW1 download which Jelly made, failing which I can make one from the 1.6 WW1 setup I have.

I think there are other WW1 planes around - see Laurent Vogel's posts on the EAW Facebook page. If you're going to do this might be worth trying to get him involved.

Re: Fall Grun 1938. What if?

If it was something to do the longdirset or the folder names, wouldn't we get the same result on all setups including both of my computers?

Excatly what happens if you try to run the UBI setup without using the windower?

Could you try it using the glide wrapper and see if you get a start?

Re: EAW WW1 Theatre

This is the 1.6 aircraft inventory I have for WW1. As you can see there is a zeppelin: http://mogggy.org/pictures/WW1Planes.jpg There are others, including those made by Laurent Vogel. A lot of work was done on this theatre a few years back. It was not universally popular amongst EAW modders (and Ra...

EAW WW1 Theatre

Our new friend EdLaz, was asking about the EAW WW1 theatre. This is it from Jelly's standard EAW 1.6 download: http://mogggy.org/pictures/SCRN0065.jpg http://mogggy.org/pictures/SCRN0066.jpg http://mogggy.org/pictures/SCRN0067.jpg http://mogggy.org/pictures/SCRN0068.jpg http://mogggy.org/pictures/SC...

Re: Fall Grun 1938. What if?

Done some testing with the D3DWindower as Lolo suggests, and the IBU setup runs fine in a 1024x768 window:

Re: Fall Grun 1938. What if?

Sounds like an argument between the Windower and the setup. Just a thought, but presumably if you have to use the widower to get D3D, you have to copy over the D3DWindower programme into the downloaded setup. Have you also copied over any other files the windower needs, such as hook.ini and D3dHook....

Re: Fall Grun 1938. What if?

Ray: Flummoxed by that. I have even copied the setup to my steam powered XP computer and it still works. Can you tell me exactly what happens? Does PSM160V4.exe load, and can you make selections? Can you run EAW and at what point does it crash? What happens if you just run eaw.exe without running PS...

Message to lurkers - come on in!

Because of the numbers of views some of our threads are getting, there must be a number of interested lurkers about. If you are interested in EAW and want to join the discussions come on in! Because of the large number of spam registrations, I have disabled automatic board registration, but I...
